Hanson Family | Utah Mini Session

This is one of my husband's older brothers and his family. We were all in Utah together for a family reunion, and they came all the way from Hawaii and Florida! I can't believe how fast this family is growing! In the past few years they've gained 2 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren! It was fun to see them all together and I'm glad we got some good group shots! Hope you like 'em!

Check out this adorable family!  My friend (and photog extraordinaire!) Kristen Duke (of Kristen Duke Photography) came for a visit to California recently, and she asked me to photograph her family.  (She also did some cute maternity pics of me...see them HERE.)  We went down to the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, and had a blast!  Here are a few of my favorites:

I had so much fun photographing Christopher on his 1st birthday! This was also my first "cake smash" photoshoot and even though he wasn't really digging the idea at first, his daddy came to the rescue and got some good smiles out of him! I just had to showcase 2 of my favorites -- 1 showing pure joy...and a few seconds later, crying! Ahhh, the fleeting emotions of babies!
